What is a Meal Plan?
A Meal Plan unlocks delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more, at four locations across campus. Your Meal Plan includes Meal Swipes, Meal Equivalence Swipes and Dining Dollars conveniently loaded onto your Lesley ID. No need to carry additional cards or cash!
Meal Swipes
A meal swipe is used for a meal at Washburn Commons. You can go to any station as many times as you like. This is also known as all-you-care-to-enjoy.
When the ID is scanned, a meal is charged to the students' chosen meal plan. For students on the All-Access meal plan, meals are unlimited. Resident students on the Block or Weekly plan and Commuters on a Block plan will have one meal deducted from their block or weekly allowance. Weekly plans replenished every Friday morning.
Dining Dollars
These are funds that come with a Resident Meal Plan. These funds are used on campus for extras at our cafes, our vending machine Costa Coffee, Just Baked, Farmer Fridge and Prestige Service vending. These funds in conjunction with the Mobile App can also be used for our Lesley On The Go market as long as you have a balance of $20.00. Dining Dollars if not all used in the Fall Semester also rolled over to the Spring Semester but are Use-It-Or-Lose-it after the Spring Semester.
Retail Cafes
Retail Cafes include Ava's Cafe, Porter Café and Sherrill Café. Use Dining Dollars, cash, cc/debit or CashLynx.
CashLynx are funds that may be added to a student, faculty or staff ID card and used to purchase food on campus or at designated area stores. For more information, see https://lesleycard.com/.
All-You-Care-To-Eat (AYCTE)
A student who uses a meal swipe or pays the door price for a meal at Washburn Commons can go back to any of the food stations as often as they like during that meal period, so long as they do not leave the location; students need to re-swipe their cards each time they enter.
Meal Exchange
A Meal Swipe can be converted to a Meal Exchange for a pre-determined meal at Ava’s Cafe and Porter Café. Additional items may be purchased with Dining Dollars, CashLynx, cash or credit/debit card.
Meal Plan Benefits
Guest Meals – These are 5 meals on that come with a Resident Meal Plan per semester that can only be used at Washburn Commons. Resident students can use these meals for family or friends.
